Madden 25 Auction House GHOST Update

Madden 25 Auction House GHOST Update

Created: Oct 22, 2024

There are many times Ea patched and updated the game, but didn't include it in their patch notes.

Perfect example is the update to the Madden 25 Auction House and how it works when cards are posted.

What did EA change?

Most likely done to combat coin selling and players farming coins from backup accounts, Ea has implemented a random timer to all new auctions posted to the auction house.

Meaning if you post a card right now, others may not see it on the auction house for 1 second up to 5 minutes.  We have done some testing and it seems like you can see approximately 3-5% of cards posted in the first 30 seconds.  This is done on an account basis, there is nothing you can do to fix it.  Sometimes you may be able to see cards seconds or even minutes before another user, sometimes you will have to wait (up to the 5 minute maximum).

Effects on the MUT Experience

Does this mean the Snipe Spotter is done? NO!!

As a matter of fact, we can tell you cards that will soon become available at a profit BEFORE you even see it on your console.  If you use the Snipe Spotter to make coins do not give up right away if you can't see the card immediately.  It may take a minute or two to be visible due to the changes Ea made.

Note: Ea actually made this change LATE in the Madden 24 season (May if I remember correctly), but retracted it a couple weeks into the Madden 25 season.  Unfortunately, an update to the game about a month ago brought this feature back.  The good news is we are dialed in and things are back to normal.
